Paralympic Athlete Visit

We were very excited to welcome GB Paralympic Footballer Roy Turnham and his guide dog Pudsey to school yesterday. Roy, part of the Football 5-a-side team, made his Paralympic debut in London 2012 and was part of the team that finished 7^th place. Roy led a sponsored fitness circuit with all the children and followed this was a talk and question and answer session. The aim of the afternoon was to inspire the pupils to take up sport generally and to encourage them to discover and pursue their passion in life.
